I've been getting a LOT of inquiries about my 12" C3PO prototype lately. So I thought I'd write a quick blog about it. A little background: I worked at a Fortune 500 company years ago that used to own several store chains like Big Lots and Kaybee Toys. I got to know the President of Kaybee pretty well and he would give me interesting items because he knew I was a toy collector. Two items in particular were the 9" Casual Captain Kirk figure numbered "0" and this cool C3PO prototype from the 1995 12" collection. I know it's a proto because it has no markings on it. And NO it was not created on a 3D printer. I have no idea how to use one of those and to be honest, can't afford one either.
